• Microsoft (NASDAQ:MSFT) opened its first AI Co-Innovation Lab dedicated to manufacturing innovation at the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee (UWM) campus. 
• The newly launched facility results from a collaboration between Microsoft (NASDAQ:MSFT), the Wisconsin Economic Development Corporation, UWM, and TitletownTech. 
• This initiative follows the Windows-maker's $3.3 billion infrastructure investment in southeast Wisconsin, announced a year prior. The lab has been operating in a temporary location on campus for the past year, already working with several Wisconsin companies to develop AI solutions for real-world manufacturing challenges.
• The lab is designed to serve organizations of all sizes, from startups to enterprises and academia, across various industries, though its core mission is manufacturing innovation.
