Cadence Design Systems (CDNS) announced on Wednesday that it expanded its partnership with Taiwan Semiconductor Manufacturing (TSM) to support advanced AI and HPC chip designs.
The CDNS has achieved tool certification for TSMC’s A14 process and certified its analog, digital, and signoff flows for the N2P technology.
The company also expanded support for advanced 3D-IC and chiplet designs across TSMC’s N3, N2, A16, and A14 technologies, including TSMC’s 3DFabric technology designed for systems with hundreds of chiplets.
CDNS also launched new silicon-proven IP for TSMC’s N3P and N2P processes.
Global Unichip is already using CDNS solutions for AI accelerators and hyperscale systems on TSMC’s advanced processes.
Overall, the expanded partnership strengthens the company's role in the design software, IP, and packaging tools needed for increasingly complex AI chips.
On the market side, the CDNS stock traded ~2.64% higher at ~$310.76.
