随着美国销售额的增长,Haleon利用了GL-1的副作用
2026-09-16 23:43
- Haleon has seen an uptick in US sales of some of its over-the-counter products, including the pain reliever Advil and the antacid Tums, as users of GLP-1 weight-loss medications turn to the products to deal with side effects.
- The consumer health company is even teaming up with stores including CVS (CVS) to have its products placed in areas frequented by weight-loss drugs patients.
- "Dual placement in core aisles and GLP-1 destination sets delivers an average 24% sales lift per store," a Haleon spokesperson told Reuters, adding that items placed on designated GLP-1 shelves are outselling the same ones in stores without them.
- The spokesperson added that the company has also been in discussions with Walmart (WMT) and Target (TGT).
- Eli Lilly (LLY) and Novo Nordisk (NVO) are the biggest manufacturers of prescription weight-loss therapies. Lilly markets Zepbound (tirzepatide) and Foundayo (orforglipron), an oral treatment, while Novo sells Wegovy (semaglutide) and a pill version of it.
