Macerich推出1600万股公开发行股票

The Macerich Company (NYSE: MAC) on Monday said it launched an underwritten public offering of 16 million shares of common stock.
The shopping mall operator said it expects to grant underwriters a 30-day option to purchase up to an additional 2.4 million shares.
Macerich said it plans to use the net proceeds to repay borrowings under its revolving credit facility, which were primarily used to fund the acquisition of Annapolis Mall, and for general corporate purposes, including additional property acquisitions and leasing investments at Annapolis Mall.
