英美烟草首席财务官在任职15个月后辞职

- Maker of Dunhill cigarettes British American Tobacco's (NYSE:BTI) finance chief, Soraya Benchikh has stepped down with immediate effect after serving for more than a year.
- Javed Iqbal will serve as interim CFO, returning to the same role capacity while the company searches for a permanent replacement.
- Benchikh, who has spent over 20 years at the company, including prior stints, rejoined as CFO in May 2024 and will remain available to support the transition until the end of the year.
- The decision comes as a surprise amid a positive financial outlook and recent better-than-expected profits, especially from the U.S. market, which showed growth in smokeless products and nicotine pouches.
- The stock price traded 1.8% lower on Tuesday during pre-market hours of trading.
