德克萨斯州爆发麻疹夺去了第一条生命

- The Texas Department of State Health Services said that a child with measles has died amidst an outbreak in the state.
- The agency said that the child was not vaccinated and was in a hospital in Lubbock.
- As of Feb. 25, 124 measles cases have been confirmed in the state since late January, the vast majority in children. Eighteen people have been hospitalized.
- A news release from the TDSHS says that two doses of the measles, mumps, and rubella vaccine can prevent more than 97% of measles infections.
- Merck (NYSE:MRK) and GSK (NYSE:GSK) manufacture MMR vaccines that are available in the U.S.
