Tempus AI (TEM) announced on Wednesday that it expanded its multi-year deal with Moderna (MRNA) and Merck & Co. (MRK) to support the potential commercialization of intismeran autogene, an individualized cancer therapy.
The company will manage tumor and blood sample collection and provide sequencing services, subject to regulatory approval, to support the therapy's development and manufacturing.
The therapy is being evaluated with Keytruda in patients with stage IIB-IV melanoma and other cancers.
Financial terms are yet to be disclosed.
On the market side, Tempus AI traded about 3% lower at $70.07, while Moderna fell about 2% to $183.77. Moreover, Merck & Co. also traded slightly lower in premarket trading.
