AbbVie (ABBV) said its Q3 financial results will likely include an acquired in-process research and development (IPR&D) and milestones expense of $216M on a pre-tax basis.
As a result, GAAP and non-GAAP diluted EPS will be negatively impacted by $0.11.
With the IPR&D and milestone expenses considered, AbbVie projects full-year adjusted diluted EPS of $13.76—$13.96 (consensus $14.01) and Q3 adjusted diluted EPS of $3.73—$3.77 (consensus $3.84).
