Vir Biotechnology任命Aziz Sawaf为CFO

Vir Biotechnology (VIR) has appointed Aziz Sawaf as executive vice president and chief financial officer, effective October 5, 2026, to lead the finance, IT, and investor relations functions.
Sawaf brings more than 20 years of biopharmaceutical experience spanning both large global organizations and small public biotechnology companies, the company said.
He joins Vir Biotechnology from Theravance Biopharma, where he served as CFO since 2023 and also as senior vice president of operations strategy since 2025, it added.
