雅培推出“SimpleScreen”血液检测以扩大癌症筛查

- Abbott Laboratories (ABT) announced on Wednesday that it launched SimpleScreen CRC in the U.S., an FDA-approved blood test to screen for colorectal cancer in adults 45+ at average risk.
- The test, developed by Freenome, gives doctors another screening option alongside Abbott’s Cologuard Plus stool test.
- In a study of more than 48K adults, SimpleScreen CRC detected about 8 in 10 (81.1%) colorectal cancers and correctly ruled out advanced colorectal disease in about 9 in 10 people (90.4%).
- Medicare covers the test, with eligible Medicare Part B patients paying no out-of-pocket costs.
