Investment firm BNP Paribas upped its earnings estimates and price target on Amphenol (APH) after it met with company management.
"APH remains confident in sustained momentum ahead as end markets continue to exhibit strength, beyond just IT datacom," analyst Andrew E. Buscaglia wrote in a note to clients. "Within data centers, APH believes it's uniquely positioned as the only scaled player with copper, fiber and power interconnects under one roof. Long-term, APH sees the importance of interconnects only increasing as AI becomes more ubiquitous in many end markets. Given this dynamic, we believe pricing power should remain strong as APH remains confident that further margin expansion from here is likely, despite reaching record levels."
Buscaglia raised his price target to $110 from $107.50 and kept his Outperform rating on Amphenol.
Amphenol shares were little changed in early trading on Tuesday.
