加拿大8月份通胀率维持在3%

- The annual inflation rate in Canada remained unchanged at 3%, matching market expectations.
- According to Statistics Canada, prices at the pump rose 22.8% in August, following a 25.7% increase in the previous month, as the conflict in the Middle East continues to put upward pressure on energy costs.
- The Consumer Price Index decreased 0.1% in August from the previous month.
- Additionally, grocery prices rose 2.8% in August, down from a 3.1% increase in the previous month, falling below the headline inflation rate for the first time in over two years.
- Core inflation rates, which are tracked by the Bank of Canada, remained close to their target. The trimmed-mean core rate and the median core rate were both unchanged at 1.9% and 2%, respectively, aligned with expectations.
