SK Biofarma交易后，RBC资本市场的Biohaven评级被下调

- Biohaven (BHVN) shares slipped on Tuesday after RBC Capital Markets downgraded the company to Sector Perform from Outperform, arguing that its recent licensing deal with South Korea's SK Biopharmaceuticals has made the stock less appealing.
- While it was strategically correct to out-license the company’s Kv7 ion channel platform to SK Biopharma in a deal worth up to $795M, “we think it makes the stock less exciting,” analyst Leonid Timashev wrote.
- The transaction removes several vital catalysts and limits upside from a drug class with over a $1B potential opportunity and having positive reviews from KOLs, Timashev added, lowering his price target to $19 from $23 per share.
- “From here, we still see longer-term upside, but balanced by both a higher risk profile (more limited patient data, less validated mechanisms, and regulatory questions) and fewer major catalysts over the next 12 months,” Timashev wrote.
