Lakeland Industries (LAKE) announced on Tuesday new contracts and procurement opportunities across Latin America (LATAM), strengthening its regional business.
In Peru, Lakeland won a public tender to supply firefighter protective equipment to the Callao Fire Department, with delivery targeted for October.
In Argentina, the company won an order for structural firefighting suits from the National Council of Volunteer Firefighters, representing more than 1.1K fire departments and 58K firefighters.
It also won new business in Guatemala, Costa Rica, Chile, and Guyana, covering firefighting boots, disaster response, and industrial and protective equipment.
The company is advancing larger opportunities with the Argentine Federal Police and Chile’s Policía de Investigaciones.
CEO Jim Jenkins said the new wins could create recurring replenishment demand and deepen the company's customer base across Latin America.
