- Shares in Argenx SE (ARGX) jumped on Monday after the European biotech reported the latest large, successful trial for its blockbuster drug Vyvgart.
- The drug helped patients with autoimmune myositis, a disease in which the immune system attacks the muscles and can quickly rob patients of their independence, Argenx said Monday.
- First Phase 3 study to show statistically significant and clinically meaningful improvements in disease activity in IMNM, a subtype with no approved therapy.
- The shares climbed as much as 10%, the most in more than a year on an intraday basis.
