Enviri退出德国铁路网、网络铁路ETO合同

Enviri (NVRI) said its Harsco Rail subsidiaries have concluded all activities under engineered-to-order (ETO) contracts with Deutsche Bahn and Network Rail.
Harsco Rail Europe agreed to sell the Deutsche Bahn contract assets, including inventory and intellectual property, to General Atomics subsidiary Gleisbaumechanik Brandenburg GmbH (GBM), its manufacturing partner. The assets cover utility track vehicles for Deutsche Bahn.
Separately, Harsco Rail ended its Network Rail stoneblower contract and closed the related facilities, while proposing to extend the existing fleet’s life.
The company (NVRI) expects to record a noncash impairment charge of ~$75M and an incremental liability of about $133M related to future obligations under the contracts.
Its separate contract to deliver wagons and utility track vehicles to Swiss Federal Railways remains on schedule, with significant cash payments expected in 2027.
The stock price dropped about 3% on Monday after market hours of trading.
