美国推出价值21.8亿美元的关键矿产推动; FEAM、WWR成为焦点

  • The Trump administration has unveiled over $2B in federal funding for domestic critical mineral production alongside $180M in grants for American mining schools, launching a major offensive to curb dependence on foreign suppliers like China.
  • The Department of War is investing over $85M into Standard Bauxite to secure the supply chain of refractory-grade bauxite to support the manufacturing of high-temperature-resistant materials used to make critical components for our warfighters and essential to the modern industrial economy.
  • Among several initiatives, the Department of War is investing $400M into Sunrise Energy Metals (SREMF) to develop a full scandium value chain, including the world’s first primary scandium mine.
  • The Export-Import Bank is also investing $8M into 5E Advanced Materials (DEAM), a California-based company, to develop a boron deposit, a key component of permanent magnets, semiconductors, and glass.  
  • The Export-Import Bank is investing $25M into Westwater Resources (WWR) in Alabama to develop the Coosa Graphite Deposit to support domestic battery manufacturing. 
  • FEAM (FEAM) rose 27% in premarket trading, while WWR (WWR) slipped 14%.
