特斯拉将从亚利桑那州太阳能和电池工厂购买电力

- Tesla (TSLA) has entered into an agreement to buy energy from an Arizona solar and battery facility beginning in 2028.
- Project Sterling, the largest renewable plant in developer ContourGlobal’s portfolio, will sell 90% of its output to Tesla (TSLA), including 509 megawatts of peak solar generation and 360 megawatts of four-hour battery storage.
- The agreement between Project Sterling and Tesla (TSLA) is one of the largest solar-plus-battery storage corporate power purchase agreements from a single facility in the U.S.
- The power plant will be connected to a grid controlled by the Western Area Power Administration, which provides power to customers on the West Coast and Great Plains.
- Terms of the agreement were not disclosed.
