举报人引发联邦对马克·沃尔特金融帝国的调查:《华尔街日报》
2026-07-27 13:28
- A federal probe into the financial empire of Dodgers owner Mark Walter began with an internal whistleblower and evolved into an examination of whether fraud occurred in private-credit deals, the WSJ reported.
- Authorities are examining about $16B in private-credit deals involving Mark Walter’s insurance companies to determine whether fraud occurred.
- The complaint questioned how Walter’s asset-management firm, Guggenheim Investments, booked revenue from dealings with insurance companies and had drawn interest from federal prosecutors by last year, people familiar with the matter said.
- Of note, shares in Brighthouse Financial (BHF), which is being acquired by Aquarian Holdings, eased last week amid reports about investigations into the billionaire's investments and Guggenheim Partners.
