Popular (BPOP) said on Thursday CEO Javier Ferrer will retire effective Aug. 31.
The bank appointed CFO Jorge García as CEO, effective Sept. 1.
Popular also named chief risk officer Lidio V. Soriano as CFO and Luis Sousa as chief risk officer, effective Sept. 1.
