LightPath Technologies (LPTH) announced on Wednesday that it received $13M in follow-on purchase orders from a leading C-UAS and defense systems supplier for optical assemblies.
The company expects to complete deliveries under the orders during calendar 2027.
The award supports growing demand for counter-drone systems from the U.S. military and allied nations.
The orders also highlight the growth of the company's optical assemblies business and its in-house manufacturing capabilities for defense applications.
CEO Sam Rubin said the award is part of a multi-year program expected to expand as demand for counter-drone technologies continues to grow.
