- Director Chad C. Deaton acquired 35,000 registered shares on July 2 at an average price of $4.95 per share, for a total investment of about $173,250, the filing showed.
- Following the transaction, Deaton directly owns 237,421 Transocean shares.
- The company and its subsidiaries, provides offshore contract drilling services for oil and gas wells in Switzerland and internationally and has a market cap close to $5.5B.
- Transocean stock has gained about 22% on a YTD basis, while it gets a Seeking ALpha quant rating of Hold.
