- Boeing (BA) announced on Tuesday that it received a $2.0B fixed-price incentive contract for Phase II of the Mobile User Objective System (MUOS) satellite service life extension program.
- The contract covers the design, development, production, launch support, and on-orbit testing of two MUOS satellites.
- The work will be carried out in El Segundo, California, with completion expected by September 2035.
- The government obligated $204.1M in FY2026 funds at the time of the award.
- The contract was awarded by the Space Systems Command.
