LEIFRAS Co (LFS) signed an agreement to acquire 100% of SWIFT JAPAN for ~JPY454.6M.
The transaction is expected to close on July 1, 2026.
The acquisition expands Leifras' reach into early-childhood education, allowing it to engage children from infancy through its existing sports and after-school programs.
Swift Japan operates licensed nurseries in the Nagoya area with near-100% occupancy rates.
Leifras plans to integrate its sports-based non-cognitive skills development programs into Swift Japan's childcare operations.
The company expects the acquisition to strengthen its recurring revenue base through subsidy-supported childcare services.
Existing facility leadership, teachers, employment conditions, and operating structures will remain in place after the acquisition.
LFS shares up 34% post-market.
