Organon和Henlius在加拿大推出Prolia和Xgeva生物仿制药

2026-06-23 18:28

  • Organon Canada (OGN) and Shanghai Henlius Biotech on Tuesday announced the Canadian launch of Bildyos (denosumab injection) and Tuzemty (denosumab injection), biosimilars to Prolia and Xgeva, respectively, making the treatments available across Canada for all approved indications of the reference products.
  • The launch expands access to denosumab-based therapies for patients with osteoporosis and cancer-related bone conditions, while strengthening the companies' biosimilars portfolio in the Canadian market.
  • Prolia and Xgeva are brand names for denosumab, a biologic treatment originally developed by Amgen (AMGN).
  • “These biosimilars will introduce additional treatment options across several therapeutic areas, including osteoporosis, which predominantly affects women and impacts 2.3 million Canadians,” said Dominic Bégin, president and managing director at Organon Canada.
  •  “This development reinforces Organon’s commitment to expanding its biosimilar portfolio, improving treatment accessibility, and helping to strengthen the healthcare system while supporting patients in need.”
