Polyrizon (PLRZ) on Wednesday said it received notice of publication of a U.S. patent application covering its Trap & Target mucoadhesive polymer technology for nasal drug delivery.
The patent application describes formulations designed to improve drug retention and absorption through mucosal tissues, including nasal and oral delivery systems.
The platform could support delivery of therapies such as vaccines, biologics, and anti-inflammatory drugs, according to the company.
