萤火虫公司SciTEC赢得AFRL传感器算法研究合同

- SciTec, a subsidiary of Firefly Aerospace (FLY), said on Monday it had been awarded a contract by the Air Force Research Laboratory to support development of an advanced algorithm research and verification architecture.
- The company said the work would focus on sensor system research and development across the electromagnetic spectrum to support future global persistent awareness capabilities.
- SciTec said it would implement deep learning and other advanced algorithms on small size, weight and power processors to improve target detection, tracking and custody capabilities.
- The company said its detection, tracking and fusion algorithms have been used in missile warning, missile defense and integrated air and missile defense missions for more than 45 years.
