进口超过出口,加拿大2月份贸易逆差扩大

- Canada’s trade deficit rose to C$5.7B in February 2026 from the upwardly revised C$4.2B in January and worse than market forecasts of a C$2.3B shortfall.
- This marked the widest trade gap since April 2025, as total imports surged 8.4% M/M to a record high of C$72.1B, led by a massive 45.6% jump in purchases of metal and non-metallic mineral products.
- Consumer goods imports increased 4.1%, while metal ores and non-metallic minerals rose 17.6%. Imports of basic and industrial chemical, plastic and rubber products also advanced 8.2%. Exports also posted solid growth, rising 6.4% to C$66.3B.
