Cerus Corporation (CERS) has appointed Vivek Jayaraman as chief executive officer, effective July 1, 2026.
Jayaraman currently serves as Cerus' chief operating officer.
Jayaraman joined Cerus in 2016 as chief commercial officer and has served as chief operating officer since 2020. During his tenure at Cerus, Jayaraman led the company’s growth from less than $40 million in annual product revenue to more than $200 million in 2025, the company said.
