Intel (INTL) is investing in AI chip startup SambaNova Systems after talks to acquire SambaNova Systems for $1.6B reportedly stalled last month.
The microchip giant plans to invest $100M, though that figure could rise to up to $150M, Reuters reported.
The news service added that Vista Equity Partners is leading the latest funding round of more than $350M for SambaNova.
