cbdMD (NYSE American: YCBD) on Wednesday said it has completed the acquisition of substantially all the assets of Bluebird Botanicals, a U.S. cannabidiol brand.
The company said the transaction was structured as an asset purchase and paid for with an initial issuance of shares and additional earnout shares.
Financial terms were not disclosed.
cbdMD said the acquisition adds an established revenue base and intellectual property portfolio and is expected to generate operational efficiencies and revenue synergies, subject to integration.
YCBD +7.69% premarket to $1.12.
