英国反垄断机构结束对Synopsys与Ansys合并案的调查

- The Competition and Markets Authority, the U.K.'s antitrust agency, said on Friday that it had ended its inquiry into the acquisition of Ansys by Synopsys (SNPS).
- “The sale of the Divestment Businesses pursuant to the undertakings in lieu of reference completed on 17 October 2025,” the CMA said in a statement. “This brings the merger investigation to a close.”
- Synopsys divested its optical software tools and photonic software business, whereas ANSYS sold off PowerArtist, a power consumption analysis tool. Both companies sold the assets to Keysight Technologies (KEYS). Keysight completed its acquisitions of both businesses in October.
- Synopsys completed its $35B acquisition of Ansys, which was first announced in January 2024, in July.
