2025-10-22 23:07
- Charter Communications (NASDAQ:CHTR) is slashing roughly 1,200 jobs, or just over 1% of its workforce, according to media reports late on Tuesday.
- The reports suggested the cuts are primarily in corporate and back-office functions both at the company’s Stamford, Conn., headquarters and around the country.
- The cuts will not impact sales or service roles, the reports suggested, and the layoffs are intended to "streamline operations."
- The Wall Street Journal first reported the cuts.
- CHTR shares are down 1.4% at $240.09 before midday on Wednesday.
