Charter Communications将裁员1，200名员工-报告

Charter Communications (NASDAQ:CHTR) is slashing roughly 1,200 jobs, or just over 1% of its workforce, according to media reports late on Tuesday.
The reports suggested the cuts are primarily in corporate and back-office functions both at the company’s Stamford, Conn., headquarters and around the country.
The cuts will not impact sales or service roles, the reports suggested, and the layoffs are intended to "streamline operations."
The Wall Street Journal first reported the cuts.
CHTR shares are down 1.4% at $240.09 before midday on Wednesday.
