Uber收购数据标签初创公司Segments.ai

- In a move to strengthen its AI training capabilities, Uber (NYSE:UBER) has purchased Belgian startup Segments.ai, whose data labeling platform supports the company’s autonomous driving (AD) ambitions.
- The deal was announced on LinkedIn. Financial terms were not disclosed.
- Segments.ai will be integrated into Uber AI Solutions.
- Recently, Uber (NYSE:UBER) has expanded its large-scale labeling efforts as part of its AD efforts, developing a platform that distributes annotation, translation, and editing tasks.
- “We are continuing to double down on our LiDAR and multi-sensor data annotation capabilities as we serve customers globally,” Uber said in its LinkedIn post, adding that Segments.ai brings "solid experience in LiDAR annotation tools, deep expertise in the domain, and an incredible base of clients.”
