抵押贷款需求激增，再融资活动因利率下降而激增

- Composite Index: +29.7% vs. +9.2% a week ago
- Purchase Index: +2.9% vs. +6.6% the previous week
- Refinance Index: +24.4% vs. +12.2% in the prior week
- 30-year fixed-rate mortgages came in at 6.39%, compared to 6.49% last week
- "Homeowners with larger loans jumped first, as the average loan size on refinances reached its highest level in the 35-year history of our survey," said Mike Fratantoni, Mortgage Bankers Association's senior vice president and chief economist.
