Webus International (NASDAQ:WETO) is exploring a non-equity financing strategy of up to $300M to support a strategic XRP reserve and blockchain infrastructure.
The financing plan includes potential use of internal cash, bank loans, shareholder guarantees, and institutional-backed credit facilities.
Funds would support three key initiatives: cross-border settlement via XRP, development of blockchain tools like wallets and loyalty tokens, and acceleration of international expansion.
Webus also renewed its multi-year strategic mobility partnership with Tongcheng Travel (OTCPK:TNGCF), expanding inter-city charter services across China.
The partnership leverages Tongcheng’s 240 million annual users and mobility data with Webus’s premium chauffeur network for seamless domestic travel.
Webus aims to integrate XRP blockchain technology to enable instant, low-cost international payments and refunds for travelers and partners.
WETO shares rise over 34% on Thursday.
