• Global Water Resources (NASDAQ:GWRS) has commenced an underwritten public offering of shares of its common stock.
• All the shares are being offered by the company.
• GWRS also expects to grant the underwriters for the offering a 30-day option to purchase up to an additional 15% of the shares offered in the offering at the public offering price. 
• The company anticipates using the net proceeds from the offering to fund acquisitions and for working capital and other general corporate purposes.
• GWRS shares rise 2.5% post-market on Tuesday.
