董事长购买价值近100万美元的股票,Ardelyx股价飙升

- Ardelyx (NASDAQ:ARDX) traded sharply higher on Thursday after its chairman, David Mott, disclosed the purchase of nearly $1M worth of company stock, following up on a similarly significant insider purchase in December.
- According to an SEC filing submitted on Wednesday, Mott, who has served on Ardelyx's (NASDAQ:ARDX) board since March 2019, bought 199.0K company shares for nearly $5.00 apiece. The transaction conducted on Tuesday has increased Mott's stake in ARDX by 11% to 1.9M.
- His previous insider purchase of company stock took place in December when he bought 213.3K ARDX shares for~ $4.67 apiece, boosting his stake by 15% in multiple transactions worth $996.6K in total.
- His latest insider purchase, valued at $992.7K, came days after the company's recent commercial update, which sent ARDX more than 15% higher last week.
