• MicroStrategy (NASDAQ:MSTR) bought 21,550 bitcoin for about $2.1B in cash between Dec. 2 and Dec. 8, 2024, the company said in a regulatory filing.
• The bitcoins were purchased at an average price of approximately $98,783 each. The purchases were made using proceeds from the company’s recent issuance and sale of shares.
• As of Dec. 8, MicroStrategy (MSTR), together with its subsidiaries, held an around 423,650 bitcoins, which were acquired at an aggregate purchase price of ~$25.6B.
• MSTR shares were down 1.3% premarket.
