- Turkish Aerospace Industries, a state-run aerospace and defense company, was targeted in a terrorist attack that left a number of dead, Turkey's interior minister said Wednesday.
- “Unfortunately, we have martyrs and injured people following the attack,” Ali Yerlikaya said on X.
- It wasn’t clear who was responsible for the attack on company's headquarters near Ankara. Kurdish militants, the Islamic State group and leftist extremists have carried out attacks in the country in the past, the Associated Press reported.
- Turkish Aerospace, or TUSAS, makes civilian and military aircrafts, unmanned aerial vehicles and other defense industry and space systems.
