08:52 AM EDT, 06/16/2022 (MT Newswires) -- Sports Ventures Acquisition Corp. (AKIC) and visual effects company DNEG said Thursday that they have agreed to terminate their business combination agreement, effective immediately, because of current unfavorable market conditions and other factors.
"Due to current SPAC and equity market conditions, it was mutually determined that the best option for all parties at this time is to terminate the transaction," said Alan Kestenbaum, chief executive officer and chairman of Sports Ventures.
Sports Ventures首席執行官兼董事長艾倫·凱斯滕鮑姆表示：「鑑於目前SPAC和股市的狀況，雙方都認為，此時對各方來説最好的選擇是終止交易。」
