08:34 AM EDT, 06/15/2022 (MT Newswires) -- Nucor (NUE) said Wednesday it expects "very strong" earnings and cash flow for 2022, and forecasts Q2 earnings to be in the range of $8.75 to $8.85 per diluted share - a record for the company.
Analysts polled by Capital IQ expect $8.44 per diluted share.

"End use market demand remains strong for steel and steel products," Nucor said in a statement. "Second quarter earnings will be driven by increased profitability in the steel products segment, which continues to benefit from robust demand in nonresidential construction markets."
