Azure Power將向印度Premier Energy Group投資1280萬美元；公司簽署模塊供應協議

10:14 AM EDT, 06/13/2022 (MT Newswires) -- Azure Power Global (AZRE) said Monday it will invest 1 billion Indian rupees ($12.8 million) in India's Premier Energies Group, which makes solar photovoltaic cells and modules.

美國東部時間2022年6月13日上午10：14(MT Newswres)--Azure Power Global(AZRE)周一表示，將向生產太陽能光伏電池和組件的印度Premier Energy Group投資10億印度盧比(約合1280萬美元)。

Under the terms of the deal, the company acquired a 26% stake in Premier Energies Investment by investing 455 million rupees in its equity shares and compulsorily convertible debentures.

根據交易條款，該公司通過投資4.55億盧比購買其股權和強制可轉換債券，獲得了Premier Energy Investment 26%的股份。

Premier Energies Investment is establishing a 1-gigawatt cell and module manufacturing facility in India as part of its expansion plans.

Azure said it will invest the remaining 545 million rupees in the form of a subscription to optionally convertible debentures issued by Premier Energy.

The company also signed a deal with Premier Energies Group to supply modules up to 600 MW per year for the next four years.

Azure shares were down 3% in recent trading.
