Spyre Therapeutics (SYRE) said on Monday it commenced an underwritten public offering of its common stock, with the underwriters granted a 30-day option to purchase up to an additional 15% of the shares offered.
The company plans to use the net proceeds to advance its Gastroenterology, Rheumatology, and Dermatology programs, including clinical trials, manufacturing, and Phase 3 readiness.
Proceeds will also support the development of SPY072 for hidradenitis suppurativa, with remaining funds for R&D, working capital, and general corporate purposes.
Jefferies, TD Cowen, Leerink Partners, and Stifel are acting as the joint book-running managers for the proposed offering.
