Viking Therapeutics said that a recently upsized $500M offering of common stock and convertible senior notes brought in gross proceeds of $575M. After deducting deducting underwriting discounts and commissions, and the company's expenses expenses, net proceeds are ~$547.8M.
The offering included 9,035,714 shares of common stock at $35.00 per share and $258.75 million aggregate principal amount of 2.00% convertible senior notes due 2032.
Underwriters also fully exercised both an option to purchase an additional 1,178,571 shares of common stock and another to purchase an additional $33.75 million aggregate principal amount of notes.
