Volato Group (SOAR) shares jumped ~123% to ~$0.40 in premarket trading on Monday after its Alignment Engine unit won $1.17B in four-year AI infrastructure orders from a large AI customer.
The orders cover dedicated AMD GPU deployment at Alignment Engine’s planned Ohio AI campus.
The first deployment uses AMD MI355X GPUs, starting December 31, 2026, followed by MI455X GPUs from June 30, 2027.
The customer has committed about $133M in prepayments, including roughly $40M after the initial order. Moreover, the remaining contract value will be paid over four years on a take-or-pay basis.
