- Sequans Communications (SQNS) announced on Wednesday it received a NYSE noncompliance notice for failing to meet market capitalization requirements.
- The company had an average global market capitalization below $50M over 30 consecutive trading days while stockholders' equity was also below $50M.
- Sequans has 90 days to present a compliance plan outlining actions to regain compliance within the nine-month cure period.
- The NYSE will assess the plan and determine within 45 days of receipt whether the company has demonstrated an ability to regain compliance.
- The company said its compliance plan will include actions such as its Bitcoin treasury exit, strengthened financial position, and focus on its semiconductor growth strategy.
