微软将保留股东提案权至2027年：报告

- Microsoft (MSFT) has agreed to keep its current rules for shareholder proposals for another year, following a request from activist investor Paul Chesser, according to Reuters.
- Under the agreement, Microsoft will continue using existing eligibility requirements for investors seeking to put resolutions to a shareholder vote, despite a proposed change by the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission.
- The SEC last week proposed ending its oversight of the shareholder proposal process and shifting the role to state officials. Critics say the change could make it harder for individual investors and other groups to bring proposals before shareholders.
- Microsoft's annual meeting is scheduled for Dec. 8. Chesser's group also has shareholder proposals pending at Procter & Gamble (PG) and Oracle (ORCL), Reuters reported.
