Vertex报告Inaxaplin治疗肾脏疾病的中期结果呈阳性

- Vertex Pharmaceuticals (VRTX) said that data from a phase 2b trial found that the experimental drug inaxaplin led to a significant decline in proteinuria in individuals with APOL1-mediated kidney disease (AMKD).
- Results from the AMPLIFIED study showed that in one cohort, people with AMKD with modest proteinuria had a 42.7% reduction in urine albumin-to-creatinine ratio (UACR) at week 13 compared to baseline. A secondary endpoint, urine protein-to-creatinine ratio (UPCR), showed a 44.7% drop.
- In the second cohort, individuals with AMKD, type 2 diabetes, and proteinuria, UACR reduction was 17.3%, while UPCR declined 25.4%.
- Vertex noted that it is on schedule to release data from a pre-planned interim analysis of the phase 2/3 AMPLITUDE study in early 2027.
