Lument Finance Trust (LFT) suspended its Q3 dividend, citing expectations that it will meet its 2026 REIT taxable income distribution requirements while preserving capital and financial flexibility.
The company said H1 2026 common dividends totaled $0.80 per share, exceeding its REIT taxable income for the period and expected FY distribution requirements. It does not expect to need additional common distributions to meet its 2026 REIT requirements.
The Board will continue to review the dividend policy based on portfolio performance, taxable income, liquidity, and overall capital requirements, the company said.
Lument Finance Trust also declared a $0.4921875 per-share dividend on its 7.875% Cumulative Redeemable Series A Preferred Stock. The preferred dividend is payable October 15 to stockholders of record as of October 1.
